I’ve had a fascination with Greek mythology
and medieval fantasy ever since I can remember.
At the core of that obsession was my love for the sword.
There could have been an Ancient Warrior in my bloodline…
It was my mother who opened my eyes to worlds beyond my own.
She is the reason why the sword means so much to me and has had a great impact on my life.
As a child, my mother would tell me stories of the ancient Greek warriors and their great trials and feats.
I felt a sense of pride knowing that I came from Greek heritage and that maybe somewhere in my bloodline there could have been a warrior like the ones I had read about.
Some people think a sword is no more than a sharpened piece of steel, but it's so much more than that.
It is only when the wielder gives it a purpose can the life it was given truly mean something.
Working with my hands is something I have always enjoyed doing.
The feeling I get when I take a step back and admire what I’ve created is something I cannot put into words.
I was never one to work behind a desk, I felt more comfortable on a construction site being a part of something that was made from nothing.
I proudly buy most of my materials from Canadian owned businesses.
People who find me online often say they came across my work after searching for “bladesmith Canada.” They’re looking for locally made blades that are not mass produced in factories where quantity is more important than quality.
My aim is to make the highest quality blades possible.
All of my projects are hand crafted and made in Canada.

They are the reason I pushed myself to become a better Bladesmith.
They are the reason I continue to push myself everyday.
I was born in the winter and I made my first blade in the winter too.
